In 2018, voiceover emerged fast and hard to arguably become this Adventurer’s strongest and most versatile talent to where it’s now a full-time career and my biggest expertise across video games, animated shorts and movies, aired commercials and a few audiobooks. Having trained in classes provided by Steve Blum, June Yoon and others, I’m now also training in motion-capture!
Theatrically, being Native/American Indian (Tarahumara, Lakota), I’ve proudly portrayed many Indigenous characters from warriors to elders as well as narrated many historical, justice-focused and commercial pieces. Naturally, I also have a very young-sounding voice and have most often portrayed teens and young adults in addition to earnest and plucky personalities, older stuffy or narcissistic types, nerds and maniacal villains. You’ll also be surprised on just how far my passioon goes for playing creatures and monsters! (growls)
Commercially, I’m most often booked to be the incredibly friendly, caring and sincere voice that’s moderately deep but smooth as butter, or a personality that’s full of a spunky energy for a kids show or commercials or often for clients who want to take advantage of my natural matter-of-fact style of speaking that’s ideal for non-fiction and educational material. Please be sure to ask about more conversational/chatty and “detached” styles if that’s your demographic!
