Gamer on youtube, twitch and facebook

It’s been a long time coming, hesitating year after year with creating my first dedicated gaming space and channels across Youtube, Twitch and Facebook but here they are. I have a lot of subjects, games and content slowly in the planning but you can be sure I’ll put the most “me” spin on it possible.

For thirteen years, I was a gaming journalist for local papers and online publications, largely writing about games for non-gamers because I’ve always felt that games are the most revolutionary and brilliant form of story telling and art ever produced in modern times. So brilliant, that I had to tell the world about them! You cannot get me to stop talking about video games as an interactive art and an industry that’s bigger than movies and music combined.

But even still, it took me a long time to figure out how to put my own twist on my “content” so imagine how dumb I felt when I realized that I had a unique angle all along. Video games have literally and wholly shaped my life and they have been the catalyst that lit a fire under the passions that now define my life. My personal style and love of monsters was because of Digimon (it started as V-pets!), Parkour was because of Mirror’s Edge, anthropology and climbing was because of Uncharted and the list goes on.
